Connexion
Connexion is the JTA's shared, destination-to-destination transportation service for individuals with disabilities who cannot use fixed-route buses or trains. This service ensures accessible travel across Jacksonville.

Connexion Ticket Books
Connexion passengers can purchase books containing 10 tickets. Each ticket is good for a one-way fare for an ADA or TD customer.

ADA Eligible Visitors
Visiting Jacksonville and need paratransit services? If you are ADA Eligible in another city or can provide documentation of a disability, you may qualify for Connexion services while you're here.
Requests will be reviewed and granted the same day or no later than one day after submission.

Who Qualifies?
JTA’s Paratransit Services follow ADA guidelines to assist individuals with disabilities who cannot use fixed-route services independently.
CATEGORY I APPLICANTS Unable to use buses or rail, even with training.
CATEGORY II APPLICANTS Can use public transit, but accessibility barriers exist.
CATEGORY III APPLICANTS Have impairments preventing access to bus stops or rail stations.

Submit Application
Apply online or download and complete the eligibility form.
Schedule an Assessment
Call the center to book an in-person interview and functional evaluation.
Receive Your Decision
You’ll be notified of eligibility status within 21 days.
Eligibility Case Review
JTA assesses applications based on ADA standards. Eligibility is granted on a conditional or unconditional basis.
Conditional Eligibility
Service is available only for trips where fixed-route transit is inaccessible.
Unconditional Eligibility
Full access to Paratransit Services without restrictions.
Appealing a Decision
If found ineligible, you can appeal within 60 days. Contact the Eligibility and Training Center for more details.
