Dunn Avenue Corridor

Council Districts: 8

The Dunn Avenue Corridor project is a demonstration lane elimination project, also known as a road diet. From Biscayne Boulevard to I-95, Dunn Avenue will be reduced from seven to five lanes. The two eliminated traffic lanes will be used for bicycle infrastructure. Protected bike lanes will be added in the eastbound direction from Briarcliff Road to Monaco Drive, and a buffered bike lane will be added in the westbound direction between Biscayne Boulevard and I-95.

The project also includes transit enhancements such as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant bus stops, improved amenities and shelters, new concrete pads, and direct sidewalk connectivity.
