PURPOSE
Attend the American Public Transportation Association’s (APTA) Annual Legislative Conference for training on transit best practices and receiving updates on legislation that affects transportation and infrastructure. Board Members will attend the Transit Board Members Committee Meetings and join staff in meetings with the USDOT, FTA and on Capitol Hill with elected officials. There is also the Women Who Move the Nation Awards breakfast that Board members will attend.
