Employee Recognition
At each board meeting, the Jacksonville Transportation Authority awards our outstanding employees for their commitment to our mission, vision and goals. They set an example for everyone through their work, words, and actions every day. Each month we recognized one Maintenance, Bus Operator and Administrative employee.
The employee of the month selection and criteria process aims to recognize and reward outstanding employees while promoting a fair and transparent approach to employee recognition. Past winners are not eligible again until 12 months after award. Nominees must meet the following to be considered:

JTA/JTM employee

No disciplinary actions

Attendance
Based on handbook or policy guidelines

Proven
Action within the preceding 3 months
Elements of a Leader
Nominees should demonstrate at least two Elements of a Leader.
