JTA Beaches Trolley Available for 26.2 with Donna

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – January 30, 2017 – The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is pleased to provide spectator transportation via the Beaches Trolley for the 26.2 with Donna on Sunday, February 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Riding the JTA Beaches Trolley is easy with the MyJTA mobile app. Race watchers can purchase a $4 unlimited-ride, single-day pass with a mobile device. The app allows users to plan a trip, track their ride and pay a fare with the convenience of a mobile device. The MyJTA app is available for both iPhone and Android users.

Three trolleys will operate on a 20-minute frequency on Third Street between South Beach Regional Shopping Center on the south end and Atlantic Boulevard on the north end.

The race begins at 7:30 a.m. at The Players Championship parking venue in Ponte Vedra Beach. The course will guide runners and walkers through four beautiful beach communities in Northeast Florida, along historic coastal A1A, over the Intracoastal Waterway Bridge to finish the race at Mayo Clinic.

The Beaches Trolley is a great way to watch the race and enjoy the beaches, shopping and restaurants. Trips are $1.50 each way or $4 for a one-day, unlimited ride pass.
