(Jacksonville, FL – December 18, 2025) The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) will host a series of public community meetings in January 2026 to provide residents with updates on current transportation initiatives, recent improvements, and future enhancements, while gathering feedback to help guide long-term mobility planning across Northeast Florida.

The meetings are designed to offer community members a comprehensive overview of JTA services, including fixed-route bus service, First Coast Flyer, paratransit options, and programs such as My Ride 2 School and seniors ride free. The JTA team members will also highlight service improvements and operational efficiencies implemented over the past year that enhance reliability, connectivity, and customer experience.

“At the JTA, people are at the center of everything we do,” said JTA CEO Nat Ford. “These meetings provide an important opportunity to share progress, listen to the community, gather feedback, and ensure our future planning continues to advance safe, reliable, and accessible mobility for Northeast Florida.”

All interested individuals and community groups are encouraged to attend and participate. All meeting locations are ADA accessible. Individuals requiring special accommodations should contact Tsopie Trottie at 904-630-3107 no later than seven days prior to the meeting.
