Community Meetings Recap & Connexion Plus Update
Last month, the JTA held eight community meetings to discuss our six-month Fare Modification Pilot Program which began on February 1st. Active participation from the community showed that when we work together, good things can happen. The JTA heard the community’s feedback, and we are taking action to find an agreeable solution that sustains the Connexion Plus service.
At the JTA Board of Directors Meeting in January, the JTA Board voted to postpone any fare or service changes to Connexion Plus until after April 2nd, 2026.
If you missed our community meetings, you can watch the meeting presentation video, review the details of the pilot program, and give us your feedback here.
Showcasing the Future of Mobility
As we begin the new year, the Jacksonville Transportation Authority continues building momentum around the JTA’s NAVI autonomous vehicle shuttle service and HOLON, the manufacturers of the next-gen, purpose-built AVs. Jacksonville is leading the nation in safe, reliable, public AV deployment. The JTA’s innovation team is developing a model for how innovative technology can improve public safety and shape the future of mobility in America, starting in Northeast Florida.
Delta Airlines Tour
This month, Delta Air Lines, joined by Miller Electric and T-Mobile, visited the Jacksonville Transportation Authority to explore how autonomous technology could support future mobility solutions.
The teams toured our Autonomous Innovation Center (AIC) to see operations and the command center firsthand, then took a ride on NAVI to experience our first-in-the-nation public autonomous mobility service in action.
We’re proud to showcase how the JTA is leading the way in innovative, connected mobility and sharing what’s possible with partners across the industry.
Cobb County Visit
Last month, we welcomed officials from Cobb County, Georgia, to tour the Autonomous Innovation Center and a ride on NAVI. Visits like these offer public officials a firsthand look at the future of mobility and how they can help shape public transportation solutions that improve public safety across America.
NAVI at the NFL Playoffs
The game day energy was high at EverBank Stadium as NAVI was on display in the Fan Entertainment Zone during the Jaguars vs. Bills playoff game. Fans had the chance to see it up close and learn how this innovative service will help get them to future games and events.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to check it out and connect with the JTA as we continue shaping smarter, safer, and better-connected mobility for Northeast Florida.
