Introducing Red Line Xpress
Beginning Monday, Sept. 8, the First Coast Flyer Red Line Xpress will provide express bus service between the Beaches and Downtown. The pilot-route will expedite travel time from Downtown to the Beaches by 20 minutes - making stops at 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue South at the Beaches, FSCJ South Campus and the Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center (JRTC) in Downtown.
Service will operate Monday through Friday - view the schedule and details.
September Service Enhancements
As of Monday, Sept. 8, we also rolled out weekday and weekend schedule adjustments and frequency improvements across several routes.
New schedules for Routes 11, 14, 102 (Green), 105 (Orange), 107 (Blue) and 109 (Red) are available at the JRTC at LaVilla, your Public Library, the Tax Collector's Office, CareerSource Northeast Florida or on your bus.

Free Rides for Students this School Year
As the 2025-2026 school year begins, the JTA is reminding families that students can ride at no cost through three fare-free programs:
My Ride 2 School - Middle and high school students can ride any of the JTA's 34 fixed-route buses or First Coast Flyer lines, seven days a week, by showing a valid school ID. Review routes here.
College Student Annual Pass - Students enrolled at accredited local colleges and universities ride free year-round. Registration is available with a valid school email address.
My Ride to Train - New this academic year, this one-year pilot provides free passes to students in trade, technical, vocational or apprenticeship programs through June 30, 2026. Eligible students can now register here.

Football Season is Back: Take the Gameday Xpress
The JTA's Gameday Xpress provides a convenient, affordable way to travel to and from EverBank Stadium this football season. With round trip transportation from five park-and-ride locations around Jacksonville, passes for the 2025 Jacksonville Jaguars home season are available via the MyJTA app.

NAVI: The Nation's First Public Autonomous Vehicle System
Have you taken a ride on NAVI yet? Operating Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., NAVI is the nation's first public autonomous vehicle transit system, and it's fare-free through Sept. 30, 2025.
NAVI stops at a variety of arts and culture, shopping, dining, hotel and public park destinations throughout Downtown Jacksonville, making an easy and enjoyable day in the city. Preview the route and plan your trip here.
