Your Ride is Here!
ReadiRide provides affordable, on-call transportation to customers in 14 Jacksonville communities. It’s a service that puts you, the customer, in control of when and where you want to be picked up and dropped off.
HOW IT WORKS
Reservations can be made Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Curb-to-curb service must be in the same designated zone. For example, if you are picked up within the Beaches zone, you must be dropped off within the Beaches zone.
Contact a ReadiRide reservationist at (904) 265-6999 at least two hours in advance to request an arrival time to your destination to schedule a pick-up. All ReadiRide trips start at $2.00. Give the reservationist:
- Date and time of pick up
- Pick-up and drop-off locations
- Number of passengers
- Any accommodations needed, such as a wheelchair lift.
Hours of Operation
Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
No service on Sunday.
Holiday Schedule
ReadiRide will be closed on Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.
Travel Tips
- ReadiRide only accepts cash and mobile payments.
- STARCards are not accepted for payment.
- Fares start at $2.00. Exact change is required — drivers will not issue change.
- Be ready at your pick-up time and location.
- If you schedule a trip and are unable to take it, call the ReadiRide reservationist at (904) 265-6999 to cancel the reservation as soon as possible.
Door-to-Store
Door-to-Store is a partnership between the JTA and the City of Jacksonville that provide free rides to grocery stores for residents living in the JTA's Northside ReadiRide Zone, including the New Town neighborhood.
The program, which launched in February 2020, provides expanded access for residents living in what are considered food deserts, areas where access to fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats are not as easily available within a close proximity of their homes.
Reservations can be made for pick-up and drop-off rides up to two hours in advance by selecting the Door to Store option when customers call ReadiRide at (904) 265-6999. Rides are available Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Customers can take free rides to and from eight grocery store locations within the Northside ReadiRide zone including:
- Jacksonville Farmers Market — located at 1810 W Beaver St., Jacksonville, FL 32209
- Harveys Supermarket stores located at:
- Walmart — 12100 Lem Turner Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218
- Winn-Dixie — 5210 Norwood Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32208
- Price Rite — 3528 Moncrief Road, Jacksonville, FL 32209
- Save A Lot — 762-1 Edgewood Ave N, Jacksonville, FL 32254
