Starting Tuesday August 27, 2019 through December 2019, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be installing sidewalks and improving pedestrian access along the Arlington Expressway Service Road North from Arlington Road to Arlingwood Avenue. This FDOT project will impact the Routes 10, 23, and 109 (First Coast Flyer) on-time performance and bus stops associated with these routes.

Westbound travel lanes on Arlington Expressway Service Road North will be closed from Arlington Road to Arlinwood Avenue. Note: FDOT will detour westbound traffic in the eastbound travel lanes on Arlington Expressway Service Road North from Arlington Road to Arlinwood Avenue. Routes 10 and 109 Inbound leaving Regency Mall from Arlington Expressway will exit at the Arlinwood exit to the round-about to regular route.

Route 23 OUTBOUND on Arlington Expressway Service Road North will have the following stops missed:

  • Stop 748 San Remo Apartments
  • Stop 746 Alderman Road
  • Stop 740 Avalon Hill Apartments
  • Stop 734 Bert Road (First Coast Flyer Red Line stop)

These stops can be recovered at Stop 732 Amoco Gas Station located at Arlington Road and Arlington Expressway Service Road North.

Route 23 INBOUND on Arlington Expressway Service Road North will have the following stops missed:

  • Stop 735 Bert Road (First Coast Flyer Red Line stop)
  • Stop 741 Avalon Hill Apartments
  • Stop 747 Alderman Road
  • Stop 749 San Remo Apartments

These stops cannot be recovered due to construction. Passengers can walk to the Arlington Expressway Service Road South from Arlington Road to Stop 737 to catch the Route 23 Inbound.

Route 23 INBOUND on Townsend Boulevard will have the following stops missed:

  • Stop 625 Arlington Expressway Service Road North
  • Stop 623 Carlotta Road
  • Stop 624 Alderman Road

These stops cannot be recovered due to their location.

Stop 619 Timber Lane and Stop 617 Lone Star Road will be moved and recovered on Townsend Boulevard north of Lone Star Road with a temporary stop.
