Open House Scheduled for JTAMobilityWorks Kernan Blvd. Project


JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – May 7, 2018 – A public meeting for the JTAMobilityWorks Kernan Boulevard roadway project will be held on Monday, May 21 at Kernan Middle School. The meeting is an opportunity for the public to learn more about the project.

The scope includes widening of the existing roadway to a six-lane, divided urban section with a raised median from Atlantic Boulevard to Matthew Ungar Drive and a four-lane section from Matthew Unger Drive to McCormick Road. These sections will include curb and gutter, utility improvements, sidewalks and a 12-foot multi-use path on the east side of the road.

Residents and businesses will also have a chance to view the presentation and provide feedback as the design progresses. The meeting will be an open house format. The community is invited to stop by at their convenience. For details about the project, visit www.jtamobilityworks.com.
