JTA Vision Video Wins National Award

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – March 6, 2019 –The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) received a national first place award during the 2019 American Public Transportation Association’s (APTA) AdWheel Marketing and Communications competition. The JTA won in the educational electronic media category for its “Vision” video, which showcased the JTA’s overall vision for the future of transportation in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.

JTA was recognized during APTA’s annual Marketing and Communications conference held February 24-27 in New Orleans. The team of Bill Milnes, Winova Mayer and Jeffrey Leeser accepted the award on behalf of JTA at the AdWheel Awards celebration.

“I am pleased that APTA has recognized the creative team of individuals in our Communications and Marketing Department that year after year produce some spectacular work,” said JTA Chief Executive Officer Nathaniel P. Ford Sr. “This video showed our community the unique and progressive thinking of the Authority when it comes to transportation here, and how it will improve the overall quality of life for citizens of Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.”

The video originally debuted at the 2018 JTA State of the Authority.
