JTA to Host Public Meetings for August Service Changes

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – April 19, 2016 –The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is holding a series of public meetings and a public hearing to share service enhancements and seek public input regarding proposed changes to the bus system. Service changes are essential as part of our continued commitment to improve public transportation. Routes are selected for adjustment based on ridership and on-time performance data along with internal and external feedback.

The meetings will be in an open house format where customers can arrive within the meeting window, discuss the proposals and provide feedback. The public is strongly encouraged to attend to review the proposed changes and provide input.
