Customer Appreciation Day Monday

JTA Kicks Off National Transportation Week with Customer Appreciation Day

National Transportation Week (NTW), May 11-17, is an opportunity for our country to show appreciation to and generate awareness of the transportation industry.

To help celebrate NTW this year, JTA will be holding its annual Customer Appreciation Day Monday, May 12.

As a part of the Customer Appreciation, JTA staff will hand out breakfast snacks and water from 6:30 to 9 a.m. at the Rosa Parks, Gateway and Regency transit hubs.  Later in the day, from 3 to 6 p.m. staff will be at the Skyway Central Station lower platform area providing snacks and beverages to our Skyway patrons.

Throughout the rest of the week, JTA staff will be telling customers about the agency’s new Route Optimization Initiative (ROI) at all three major transit hubs, Tuesday to Friday from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Saturday from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Rosa Parks station only.

During the outreach, staff will hand out collateral and solicit feedback on the ROI draft proposal.  With the exception of Saturday, a ROI marketing trolley will be on site to provide customers more opportunity to avoid the heat and join subject matter representatives on board at ROI trolley to leisurely browse additional information.
