JTA coordinates routes with neighboring county transportation providers to offer you convenient service throughout the First Coast region. Trips are scheduled around major employer's work hours, the community's needs, and connections with JTA buses. Several inter - county connections are available to get you where you need to go.
Operated by Sunshine Bus Company and the St Johns County Council on Aging, this service travels from St Augustine to Jacksonville along US1 to the Avenues Mall. The service connects with the First Coast Flyer Blue Line, Routes 23 and 27 at the Avenues Mall and with six other Sunshine Bus routes in St Augustine. It operates Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. St. Augustine Routes
Nassau Transit, an extension of the Nassau County Council on Aging, has a public transportation service connecting the towns of Hilliard, Callahan, Yulee and Fernandina with Jacksonville. The east and west route connects the towns in Nassau County at a Yulee transfer point located at the Sutton Place Behavioral Health on State Road 200 & Highway 17 across the street from the Shell gas station. Passengers may connect here to a route traveling to Jacksonville with transfer connections with JTA services at River City Market Place (CT3, NS19, Dinsmore Community Shuttle and the Highlands and Oceanway Ride Request services) and in Downtown Jacksonville at the stop at FSCJ Downtown across from JTA’s Rosa Parks Transit Station. Anyone may ride Nassau Transit from designated stops at the scheduled times for only $1 per ride. Transfers at the Yulee transfer point may be made with no additional charge. Operated by the Baker County Council on Aging, the Wildcat Shuttle connects passengers from the towns of Macclenny and Baldwin to St Vincent’s Medical Center, Downtown Jacksonville and the UF Health Complex at 8th St in Jacksonville.
