Skyway Hours Extended for One Spark

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is pleased to sponsor One Spark 2016 and provide complimentary transportation via the Skyway during the festival. The Skyway will have extended hours during Spark Walk on Wednesday, April 6 from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“We are pleased to partner with One Spark for this year’s festival,” said Lisa Darnall, Vice President of JTA Transit Operations. “We encourage residents and visitors to avoid festival traffic by utilizing the Skyway.”

Skyway Schedule:
• Wednesday, April 6 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
• Thursday, April 7 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Creator Showcase will take place on Wednesday, April 6 from noon to 10 p.m. in Downtown Jacksonville, along Laura Street, at the heart of the First Wednesday Spark Walk, which spans from Hemming Park to The Jacksonville Landing.

Due to high ridership during One Spark, bicycles and double wide baby strollers will not be permitted on the trains. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The JTA provides complimentary access to the Skyway weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Skyway trains depart the stations approximately every three minutes during peak periods and about every six minutes all other times.
