Service Change Public Hearings Friday

JACKSONVILLE, FL —The Jacksonville Transportation Authority will hold two Public Hearings this Friday (July 23) between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and then again from 4-6 p.m. to share information on proposed changes to the transit system and get feedback from the community. Both meetings will be held in the JTA Board Room, located in the JTA Administrative Building at 100 N. Myrtle Ave. in Jacksonville.

There will be a formal presentation at noon (morning session) and 5 p.m. (afternoon session with a public comment period after each session.

The routes being discussed include – Riverside Trolley, Beaches Trolley, A
R3, BH1, E5, L8, M4, M5, NS16, NS17, Q3, WS1, WS6, Broward Community Shuttle, Edgewood Community Shuttle, Golfbrook Community Shuttle and Northside Community Shuttle. New community shuttles are being considered for the following areas Lewis Industrial Park-Dinsmore, 9th and Penman, NAS-Ortega and Talleyrand.
