Riverside Night Trolley Debuts with Nearly 1K Trips

The new Riverside-Avondale Night Trolley came out of the gate strong as nearly 1,000 trips were taken during the first weekend of service. The JTA is partnering the Riverside Avondale Preservation to offer the trolley service one weekend a month through June as a pilot program to measure potential long-term interest.

“We are excited to partner with Riverside Avondale Preservation to offer safe and convenient transportation services for the Riverside-Avondale nighttime crowd,” said JTA CEO Nathaniel P. Ford Sr. “I share the organization’s passion for improving the transportation and parking solutions for these historic neighborhoods.”
