Ride JTA Shuttle to Gator Bowl

A sellout crowd of 74,000 people is expected for the New Years Day extravaganza known as the Konica-Minolta Gator Bowl.  The 2009 version pits the Clemson Tigers from the ACC against the Cornhuskers of Nebraska from the Big 12 conference.  Kickoff is at 1 p.m. 

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is ready to make your gameday experience an easy one with its Stadium Shuttle Service.  Just park for free in one of our convenient lots and hop onboard one of our shuttles for a direct trip to the stadium.  JTA will offer park-n-ride service from three locations throughout the city including:

Southside:   Philips Highway/J. Turner Butler Blvd        $ 12   

In addition to these locations, JTA will also offer shuttle-only service from the Jacksonville Landing (load on Hogan Street between Water and Bay) to the stadium.  The cost is $7.  All Stadium Shuttle Service will begin at 10 a.m. (three hours prior to kick-off) to one hour after the game.

e Skyway will also be operational and transporting passengers from Kings Avenue to the Jacksonville Landing for those wishing to enjoy the festivities there.  Call or go online for schedule and route details.
