Security and Badging

The criminal background check for contractors and vendors must include information that indicates that the employee/applicant is:

  • Free and clear from any felonies, through a national check, for the last five years.
  • The employee/applicant has not been released from incarceration for a felony conviction in the last five years.
  • The employee/applicant does not have an active warrant.
  • The employee/applicant does not have any open felony court cases.
  • The employee/applicant is not the subject of a fraud alert (Social Security Number discrepancy)

Once a vendor badge is issued, the employee is to display the badge where it can readily be seen and identified by JTA staff members.
