Campus Master Plan

The JTA is committed to improving the Northeast Florida economy, the environment and quality of life both now and in the future through investing in sustainable initiatives. As such, under the umbrella of the Blueprint 2020 initiative, we are transforming the Myrtle Campus location on 100 North Myrtle Avenue into a state-of-the art Operations Campus and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) public access station.

Campus Master Plan (2012)

  • Addresses the growing concerns of the limited space at Myrtle Campus
  • Prepares for the CNG bus fleet conversion and First Coast Flyer (BRT) service implementation
  • Supports the development of the future Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center (JRTC)

Project includes:

  • Relocation of the JTA Administration Headquarters
    • December 2014 JTA relocated the company headquarters to the historic Atlantic Place building (Downtown) at 121 Forsyth Street.
  • Renovation upgrades to the Myrtle Campus in the areas of:
    • Infrastructure
    • Plumbing upgrades
    • Flooring upgrades
    • Roofing upgrades
    • Fiber Optic upgrades
    • Sewer line upgrades
    • Wayfinding Directional Signage
    • Fuel Tank Replacement Double Capacity
