Inter-County Shuttle

JTA coordinates transportation with the region.

JTA coordinates routes with neighboring county transportation providers to offer you convenient service throughout the First Coast region. Trips are scheduled around major employer's work hours, the community's needs, and connections with JTA buses. Several inter-county connections are available to get you where you need to go.

Inter-County Fares

General: $1 cash fare each way
Seniors and persons with disabilities $.50 cash fare each way

Inter-County passes are good for unlimited rides on the JTA and partnering county transit systems can be purchased for $65 per month.

Inter-County Connections

The Purple Line (St. Augustine - The Avenues Mall)

Operated by Sunshine Bus Company and the St Johns County Council on Aging, this service travels from St Augustine to Jacksonville along US1 to the Avenues Mall. The service connects with the JTA L7 and S1 bus lines at the Avenues Mall and with six other Sunshine Bus routes in St Augustine. It operates Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. St. Augustine Routes

Clay County

Public transportation service in Clay County is operated by Clay Transit and the Clay County Council on Aging. For more information about service in this area, please call (904) 264-5699 / 284-5977 / 269-6345. Their public routes include trips between:

Green Cove Springs and the Orange Park Mall (connecting with the WS2)

Middleburg and the Orange Park Mall (connecting with the WS2)

Green Cove Springs and the Naval Air Station (connecting with the WS1)

Middleburg and the Bear Run Health Department

PC50 (Palatka - Green Cove Springs - Orange Park)

Operated by Ride Solutions, this service connects Palatka, Green Cove Springs and Orange Park. It connects with the WS2 at the Orange Park Mall. The service operates Monday through Friday with one morning trip and one afternoon trip each day. Palatka (PC-50)

Baldwin Commuter Shuttle (Macclenny - Baldwin - Jacksonville)

Operated by the JTA, the Baldwin Commuter Shuttle connects passengers from Macclenny and Baldwin to the Rosa Parks Transit Station in Downtown Jacksonville. This service operates Monday through Saturday. Baldwin Commuter Shuttle brochure.

Service Updates

B7-Commonwealth/Baymeadows Route Change

Effective Monday, August 23, the B7 will return to its regular, pre-detour route. Riders who have been getting on the bus on Fifth Street (between Huron Street and McDuff Avenue) should now go to First Street. The current printed schedule will still show the route as Fifth Street, however.

Stadium Shuttle Service

Stadium Shuttle Service is back for Jaguars games. Service begins two hours before kickoff and one hour after the game (continual service to the Convention Center lot is available throughout the game). Round-trip service starts at $7.Click here for more information.

Laura Street Detour

The intersection of Independent Drive and Laura Street is closed for construction. The detour will end when construction is completed. Click here for more information.
