Procurement

Bid and/or Proposal opening dates, times and locations are subject to change.

All Bid and/or Proposal responses must be date and time stamped by the Jacksonville Transportation Authority by 2:00 p.m. on the respective schedule opening day. The prospective bidder bears full responsibility to ensure that its bid and/or proposal is received at the proper place and time, whether the bid response is mailed or hand delivered. The Jacksonville Transportation Authority assumes no responsibility for delays in U.S. Mail or any other delivery services.

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority does not send it's Bid/RFP documents via E-mail or Fax. All requests for Jacksonville Transportation Authority Bid/RFP documents will be sent to the requestor using the U. S. Mail services. If you would like to have your requested packages sent to you by any other means, simply e-mail your request to the JTA Purchasing Division at purchasing@jtafla.com and provide us your account information and we will forward the appropriate documents to you.

North Florida Procurement Association 2010 Procurement & Contracting Expo

The North Florida Procurement Association is proud to announce that the 2010 Procurement & Contracting Expo will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at University of North Florida's University Center.

Service Updates

Road Closure

On Wednesday, February 10, 15th St. at the intersection of Beach Blvd. will be closed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  Traffic will detour to 12th St. and Shetter Ave.


Rider Notice for BH1

The westbound portion of the new Kernan flyover and the new service road will be opening to traffic. The BH1 will travel on the new service road. Click here for more information.


Upcoming Public Hearing and Workshops

E5 Route Modification

Due to poor street conditions, the Florida Avenue stop between 21st Street and 22nd Street will be removed from service, however, JTA will be adding three new stops to accommodate the modification.  These changes will become effective on October 26. This route modification will not affect the bus schedule.


63rd Steet Detours

Beginning on February 2, 63rd Street will be closed for repair. The street is expected to reopen on February 10.  The following stops will be missed while the buses are on detour; Buffalo at 58th; Buffalo at 61; 63rd and Southland; 63rd and Bloxham; and 63rd and Oakwood.  Click here to view detour directions.
