Plan Your Trip

Plan Your Trip can help you choose the best way to use transit, whether by JTA bus, The Trolley, connections to the downtown Skyway, or one of our inter-county van shuttles. Just enter your starting point and destination and then make some choices about your trip. Plan Your Trip will design your itinerary.

Some things you need to know to use Plan Your Trip:

1.       Important: Plan Your Trip does not always distinguish between numbered streets and numbered avenues. Always use an intersection rather than a street address when planning a trip to or from a numbered street or avenue. Use of a street address could leave you several miles from your destination.

2.       Plan Your Trip displays regularly scheduled services. For temporary detours or other delays, please see our News.

3.       Some addresses, intersections and landmarks may not be recognized by Plan Your Trip or may not be shown in their actual location.

4.       You can also verify JTA bus services from our Bus Page.

5.       For additional information regarding Plan Your Trip, use the Instruction Page.

6.       If Plan Your Trip does not meet your needs or if you have any concerns, comments or suggestions for improving it, please contact our customer service department at (904) 630-3100, (TDD – (904) 630-3191). You may also fill out a Comment Form and submit it online. We appreciate your input!

Now that you know more about Plan Your Trip, we invite you to try it. We hope you will find it useful in planning trips using transit across the First Coast .

Now Available - STAR Card Registration

STAR card registration is now available. The card must be loaded with a product or dollar amount before it can be registered. Thank you.

State Street Detour

Double-parked vehicles on State Street have created an unsafe driving situation and forced the following bus detours.  The detour is as follows: Outbound buses on State St. will turn right on Rushing St.; then left on 2nd St. to its regular route. Inbound routes will reverse detour. This takes the buses out of the problem area with little to no impact on the neighborhood or ridership. The detour will miss two bus stops on State St. (one inbound & one outbound) between Rushing St. & Tyler St.
