DESCRIPTION: Design and construct major improvements to the US-1/Butler Blvd. and I-95 Butler Blvd. intersections.

STATUS
Current Activity: DESIGN PHASE: The final design phase began May 21, 2012. On March 29, 2012 FHWA approved the general project classification and the location and design concepts, as documented in the Project Development Summary Report (PDSR). Funding: Federal funding of $2.8 million.     

Schedule: The design consultant, HNTB, began preparation for a Design-Build program package on May 21, 2012, with completion anticipated in December 2013.  Project is being transferred to FDOT for implementation.

DBE/MBE: DBE participation will conform with FDOT policies.

SIGNIFICANT ISSUES: There is no available funding for right-of-way or construction.
